MVCC Dress Code Policy

Definition of “Private Golf Club Appropriate” – All Members shall make an effort to be attired in the accepted standard of Professional Golf. It is every member’s responsibility to have their guest (s) be attired accordingly to this policy. Members and guests not dresses appropriately will be written down in the dress code violation book for the first offense. If the dress code is violated a second time, the member will be sent a written letter from the General Manager.

Men’s Attire
All attire in the clubhouse or on the Golf Course must be “Private Golf Club Appropriate”.
Men must wear collars at all times.
Dress denim is allowed in the Clubhouse and Golf Shop. Denim must be free of frayed ends and holes. Denim is not allowed on the Golf Course or practice facilities.
Men and boys are to remove hats and visors while seated in the Clubhouse. Hats and visors may be work on the Golf Course, practice facilities, and downstairs.
Athletic attire – tee shirts, hooded sweatshirts, non-golf related sweat pants, basketball shorts and drawstring shorts are not allowed.
Sweaters and mock turtlenecks are allowed.
Professional sports jerseys are allowed during their respective seasons in the clubhouse only.
Shorts must be “Private Golf Club Appropriate”. We ask that our members use their best judgement or call the office or Golf Shop with any questions. This applies to the Golf Course and Clubhouse.

Women’s Attire
All attire in the clubhouse or on the Golf Course must be “Private Golf Club Appropriate”
Women that were tops with no sleeves must have a collar, if they have a collar it is acceptable to have no sleeves.
Dress denim is allowed in the Clubhouse and Golf Shop. Denim must be free of frayed ends and holes. Cutoff shorts are not allowed. Denim is not allowed on the Golf Course of practice facilities.
Visors and hats are allowed for women throughout the clubhouse.
Athletic attire – tee shirts, hooded sweatshirts, non-golf related sweat pants, basketball shorts, drawstring shorts and yoga pants are not allowed.
Shorts, skirts and dresses must be “Private Golf Club Appropriate” we ask that our members use their best judgement or call the office or Golf Shop if there are any questions. This applies to the Golf course and Clubhouse.
Women may wear formal dresses and tops inside the Clubhouse only.
Professional sports jerseys are allowed during their respective seasons in the clubhouse only.

Children’s Attire
We ask that children follow the same dress code as adults.
