Golf Guest Information

We’re excited to have you on the course at Meridian Valley Country Club! To make your experience enjoyable and seamless, please review the following guidelines:

Golf Guest Policy

All golfing guests must be registered at the Golf Shop prior to the start of play.

Guests must be at least 18 years old if playing in adult hours of play.

In general, a member may bring up to three guests for a round of golf. However, there are designated times when a member may bring only one guest. Consult the Golf Course Hours of Operation for these times.

Any guest residing in King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties, whether owning, renting, house sitting or otherwise for any length of time is considered a Local Guest. A Local Guest may play only once in any calendar month regardless of sponsorship. This restriction does not apply to guests of a member from outside the tri-county area.

A bona fide houseguest of a Proprietary Member may purchase a guest card on a weekly basis up to a maximum of one month per year. Such arrangements must be made in advance at the club office. All House guests using the House Guest card must be accompanied at all times by the sponsoring member.

When planning to invite a guest to play it is advisable to contact the Golf Shop to check on rules, fees, and the schedule for that particular day.

The member must sign in their guest at the Pro Shop prior to commencing play and will ensure that the guest follows all club rules and golfing codes of conduct.

In addition to the above, during periods of low course usage, a limited number of outside guests may play for a fee. Only the Board and General Manager may grant this privilege.

Golf Course Rules & Regulations

  • All divots, especially on tees and in fairways must be filled with Sand Seed Mix.
  • Repair ball marks on the green.
  • Rake and smooth all marks you, your club or your ball make in a bunker. Leave the rake in the bunker parallel to the line of play. By local rule, stones which interfere with a swing in the bunker may be removed without penalty.
  • Each member’s riding power cart must be registered with the Club office. The staff will provide information on fees and requirements for operation on the golf course.
  • Persons with restricted mobility may be granted a “red flag” permit allowing them to drive on the course at times when golf carts are otherwise restricted to cart paths. Contact the General Manager for information on the eligibility requirements and restrictions associated with this permit.
