Junior Golf
Meridian Valley Country Club is excited to offer its 52nd Junior Summer Program in 2023. Junior Member participants are allowed to sponsor one guest per person for the 2023 season.
Our program offers instruction, practice & play activities, and many other opportunities to involve and encourage your junior in growing their golfing ability. Our mission is to enhance the enjoyment, knowledge, and appreciation of the game of golf for everyone involved.
We have many options for juniors at the club. Below is what we offer at Meridian Valley Country Club!
Summer Junior Golf Program (Ages 7-18)
The Junior Summer Golf Program includes eight "play days" where juniors will go on the golf course and eight teaching clinics by our MVCC professionals for boys and girls ages 7 – 18. The program includes 3, 6, 9 and 18 hole divisions. Boys and girls are encouraged to play together.
The Junior Club Championship concludes the playing season with a 2-day, Stroke Play Tournament. Each player competes within his/her division during the weekend of the Men’s and Women’s Club Championship weekend; making it a family affair.

Future Junior Golf Program (Ages 4-7)
A fun way to introduce our youngest junior golfers to the game! We will have instruction, games, and tons of prizes. Come and join the fun! All clinics are For children ages 4-7.

Junior Golf Scholarship
The Board of Trustees awards three golf scholarships annually to qualified Junior Golfers (average 18-hole score of 120 for boys and 130 for girls). Each scholarship is given for the duration of one year, and will provide the recipient with the same playing privileges as a Meridian Valley qualified junior member. Each recipient will be asked to pass a written test, given by the Golf Professional staff, which will entitle the recipient to play and practice, unaccompanied, at no cost. The Recipient will be expected to give back to the club, in various ways throughout the year. Additionally, the recipient will be expected to regularly participate in the Junior Golf Program at Meridian Valley, which runs from June through August. The scholarships are effective from June 1 to May 31 of the next year. Applicants will be contacted for an inter-view, and will be notified by May 1st.
