MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual through July 2009 and Balance sheets
were distributed for review.

the Summary of Assets from Edward Jones, copy attached in file.
a listing of all checks written June 27 – July 31, copy attached in file.
was held concerning the checking account being changed. M/S/P to close the operating checking
account with Edward Jones and open a checking and savings accounts at
First Savings Bank Northwest in Renton, WA. The purpose of moving our operating funds to First Savings
Bank is to improve our interest income return on our deposits from .01% to
approximately 2%. This resolution
authorizes James B. Schack – Treasurer to file the forms and open these
accounts and transfer existing funds to the new account. The check signers on the accounts will
be James B. Schack – Treasurer, Jack Ottini – President, Ed Bangsund –
Vice President, and Cheryl Havener – Office Manager. As needed, money will be transferred
monthly from savings to checking.
Six transfers are free of charge per month. The Bonds and Mutual funds will remain
at Edward Jones.

lawn mowing and pruning of tree branches along 132nd.
122 is being mowed bi-weekly.
sprinkler system at the north gate is complete at the cost of $6,300 plus
tax. During the hot summer months

Meridian Valley Country Club as a thank you.

replaced a burned out relay.

We will pay for half of the fee - $500.00
Fence Builders have submitted a bid to repair the fence, copy in
file. M/S/P to accept the bid for
$1,847.00 plus tax. Bill will
contact the homeowners that need to clean-up the fence area before the
repair can begin.
ARCHITECTURAL: Frank Wisdom
- The Architectural
Committee Chair sent out 39 letters last month; 12 were for home
improvements and 27 were reminders of yard maintenance issues.
home improvement/landscaping amendment requests were reviewed and approved
during our August 5th committee meeting.
the month of August, the committee chair will be reviewing each lot sent a
letter requesting a remedy to either a landscape or restriction violation,
as each letter contains a 30 day cure requirement.
committee chair will follow-up with two homeowners who have not corrected
the previous requests.
REPORT: Jack Ottini
a letter form Demco Law Firm with an update of suit filed against pit-bull
owner. The Court date is August
14, 2009 at the Kent Justice Center.
- An e-mail
was sent to residents concerning the vandalism on the golf course and golf
storm drain inspection report has been received. We have a bid to clean and repair the required work. Discussion was held. M/S/P to spend $9,000 or less to have
the required work done, including the suggested extra items. The work should begin as soon as
