PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: Approved as written with the name change from Drake to Lewis
meeting went well, the committee sign-up sheets did poorly.
Board members were given a tour of our area (inside and outside of the

REPORT: Mike McCarty
current Profit & Loss Budget vs. Actual report was distributed and
50% of the homeowners have paid their dues.
resident’s gate has been rebuilt, however the foundation support needs to
be strengthened so it won’t break apart.
It is estimated to cost between $600.00 to $700.00 to complete, M/S/P
to have this work done.
north gate is next on the list to be rebuilt and upgraded.
ditch on 256th has been realigned and made deeper.
The City of Kent did the work.
is busy cleaning storm debris off the streets and common grounds.
Keeping the storm drains unplugged is an on going job during all the
rain we’ve had.
MVCC does not have a representative to our Board as yet, if there is an
issue Mr. McCrone will handle.
this time two important problems are in the process of being solved:
the new computer is up and running and Lot #46 is being sold.

windstorm caused havoc with trees, fences, etc. We received a number of calls and emails.
#92 called to complain about his view being blocked by a golf course tree.
Lewis, Janet Drake, and Jan Viall are continuing to welcoming new
#73 – the commercial truck parked at the home was discussed
#226 – the King Co. van parked at the home was discussed.
lost four trees during the windstorm. Rodwell
has removed three of them.

storm to help clean off our roads.

Temple has been served papers and fined due to the non-compliance issues.
Jack has spoken to Matt Gilbert of Kent concerning these issues:

District #111 – The main gate meter used for irrigation has been
temporarily shut off.

On the committee will be Peg Steiner, Ron Arntson, and George or

We also discussed the water line easement for Lots #14 & #15.
The Board’s support was given and all information was shared.
Both parties will keep each other informed.

Mottola and Allen Stoick have requested permission for the Cub Scout Pack

would be distributed and March 11 with the food to be picked up March 18th.
Discussion was held, M/S/P to allow the food drive.

is a new policy for Skyway Towing – copy given to the Guards.
has asked permission to put up a sign at the gates advertising the club.
Discussion was held, M/S/P to approve the signs for two years with
the option to renew. Signage
cannot go up until plans are submitted for approval, showing size, location
and number of signs. A letter
will be sent to the General Manager.
email was received from Mr. Needham lot #92 concerning trees – this is
storm related. Jack will
#131 – during the storm, the front door was blown open.
It was closed and the out of town owner’s were notified of the
incident. Lot #73 also had a
skylight blown off and a painter’s truck has been parked in the driveway
– Jack will handle. Also an
issue with Lot #19 and #27 concerning trees and the creek.
Lot #240 complained about trees in the street during the windstorm
– Jack will respond.
Security has asked if they could present their company and labor costs to
the Board. Discussion was held;
the information will be given to Dale.
